Sagar Pandey, Salman Khan’s body duplicate, passed away on Friday at 50. The “Dabangg” actor sent a touching message on Instagram for his “brother” and included a vintage photo of the two of them taken on the “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” set.
Salman Khan praised him for showing up in the caption. He noted: “Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being there with me, Dil se shukar adda Kar Raha hoon. Sagar, may your soul rest in peace. Thank you, Sagar Panday. R.I.P.”
Users on social media reacted quickly to express their sympathies in the comments section. One person just left the comment area covered with heart emojis, while others said, “Peace, mercy, and blessings of almighty Allah on you.”
Sagar Pandey reportedly had a heart attack in Mumbai while working at the gym.
Future roles for the actor include Kick 2, starring Jacqueline Fernandez, and Tiger 3, starring Katrina Kaif. The movie will hit theatres in 2019. Salman Khan has also said that “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” would have a second installment.
His most recent appearance was in the Mahesh Manjrekar-directed film “Antim,” which also starred Aayush Sharma, Salman Khan’s brother-in-law (married to Arpita Khan).
