5G can significantly benefit the Education sector, says Dharmendra Pradhan

According to Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Saturday, the country’s adoption of 5G technology would significantly impact several industries, including education. According to him, introducing 5G telecom services would substantially aid in realizing the “digital university” that the Ministry of Education hopes to establish.
According to the Union minister, “education would be one of the primary beneficiary areas of this 5G deployment.” “Because we are currently thinking about a digital university. We intend to use virtual labs. We intend to use virtual instructors. How can we distribute attractive and high-quality material, created in all fields, to every part of the nation? 5G will be the main method of communication,” Mr. Pradhan told reporters here.

He was responding to a question on the education ministry concerning Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Saturday launch of 5G services across the nation. According to Mr. Pradhan, India is entering the “premier league” with the rollout of 5G services, and the average person would gain significantly from this. He claimed that 5G would benefit the digital economy, healthcare, education, and other fields. “The introduction of the new 5G network will fundamentally alter the current situation. I see that this 5G rollout will primarily benefit the underprivileged, “said he.

On the margins of the University of Hyderabad’s (UoH) 22nd convocation, Mr. Pradhan spoke.

Vice Chancellor B J Rao, Chancellor of the University of Hyderabad Justice L N Reddy, and Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan were present. The students received their degree diplomas from Mr. Pradhan and other guests. Prime Minister Modi introduced 5G telephone services earlier in the day, which promised to deliver high-speed mobile internet. At the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2022 conference in Delhi, the prime minister introduced 5G services in a few cities. Over the following few years, the services will gradually encompass the whole nation.
