An online platform that a trio of business owners has developed allows clients to buy meals of their choosing from several restaurants on a single bill and have them picked up at predetermined locations.
According to a press release from the business, VendiGo, which is set to open in the state capital shortly, it works like a virtual food court where clients can make orders from many restaurants at once and pick them up whenever it’s convenient for them.
“The VendiGo interface allows customers to place orders and define pickup times and locations. When a transaction is completed, the ordering system is connected with the payment gateways, and clients will receive an OTP with the kiosk box number for pickup.
In addition to guaranteeing quality and customer happiness, it streamlines last-mile delivery and ensures that orders are handled on a single platform, “It’s said.
According to a press release, the startup’s three founders and CEOs are Manoj Dethan, Aneesh Suhail, and Kiran Karunakaran, an investor with experience in the e-commerce industry.
By a press release from the business, VendiGo “provides an Omni channel platform for the restaurant sector with ordering, tracking and delivery to a pickup kiosk near the consumer” and includes curated lists of the best cafés, bakeries, and restaurants in the city.
“It offers an online shopping platform to accept orders and distribute them via these kiosks. Chefs can use these kiosks in conjunction with a cloud kitchen, so chefs can go there, do the cooking and sell through the kiosk,” it said.
According to the group’s press release, their goal is to make it possible for anyone with a passion for cooking to start their own business without making a significant initial investment.
“A basic fast-service restaurant may open for as little as Rs. 10 lakh, after which the owner can invest in marketing and software. With VendiGo, we provide both physical and digital infrastructure as a service for a price, “they said.
