State media reported that more than a dozen people were murdered in an attack on a Shiite Muslim shrine in southern Iran on Wednesday, for which the Islamic State group claimed credit.
At least 20 Shiites were killed, and several more were injured when an IS militant started shooting at worshippers at the Shah Cheragh shrine in the Iranian city of Shiraz.
