First Indian woman to reach Olympic final

Vinesh Phogat has continuously created history in Indian wrestling. She is the first Indian female wrestler to win gold medals in both the Commonwealth and Asian Games. Apart from this, she has won several medals in the World Wrestling Championships, her father Rajpal Phogat and her cousins Geeta and Babita Phogat have made significant contributions to Indian wrestling.
