Ever since Russia had amassed over 100,000 troops near the Ukrainian borders, it had triggered one of the deepest crises in the relationship of the East with the West ever since the cold war has ended.

The fears of invasion in Ukraine by Russia are continuing despite the denial by Moscow of the same. As per reports, Russia has started pulling its troops from the borders near Ukraine on Tuesday, even though the Vladimir Putin led government has not answered questions on how the forces were being withdrawn. All this has come after an alleged cyber attack on the Ukrainian websites raising fingers at Russia for this attack. The President of the United States of America, Joe Biden has said that an invasion of Ukraine is still a distinct possibility.

As per media reports, around 130,000 Russian troops had been deployed near the borders of Ukraine, this build-up has triggered one of the most intense crises in the East-West relations ever since the cold war. The government of Ukraine, on Tuesday, pointed their fingers at Russia for a cyberattack on the websites of their country. A few hours after Russia announced that it was pulling back its troops, the Ukrainian government said that several websites of the nation’s defence ministry and armed forces along with two state banks were hit by a cyberattack that could have origins in Russia.

Meanwhile, the US said an invasion of Ukraine was still a distinct possibility. While addressing the news reporters at the White House, President Biden mentioned that the invasion is still a possibility and that is why he had asked several times that all the Americans in Ukraine must leave the country before it gets too late to leave safely. Citing the second war in relation to the current scenario, he went on to say that the second world war was a war of necessity but if Russia decides to invade Ukraine, it would rather be a war of choice or a war without any cause or reason.

The United States President had also urged the President of Russia to step back from any sort of war with Ukraine. He further added that if Russia invades Ukraine, the United States and its allies were prepared to respond with penalties that would be aimed at exacting economic pain to the country along with global isolation.

The Russian President, Vladimir Putin responded by saying that the nation does not want a war with Europe and added that the current conflict can be resolved through diplomacy with the West.
