India Reported 1,247 new covid cases over the past 24 hours. There was a huge drop registered in the cases from yesterday. After the worrisome report of a 90 per cent hike in the cases in India, nearly 43 per cent of the drop was registered in the daily cases on Tuesday.
According to the Union Health Ministry data, India’s total computation of Covid-19 cases rose to 4,30,45,527 today, while the active cases increased to 11,860.
The Centre noted that the country’s pandemic monitoring was impacted when Kerala reported its state-level data within the interlude of five days. Kerela reported its covid state-level data on Monday.
In a letter to Kerala’s Principal Secretary of Health, Union Health Ministry Joint Secretary Lav Agarwal asked the state to “ensure daily updation” of Covid data.
Lav Agarwal said the Centre has regularly accentuated the need for a potent reporting tool for monitoring state-wise cases and deaths on daily basis.
Meanwhile, China reported a rise in the rate of infections as well as in the European countries.
