By going online, India eliminated all lines, according to PM Modi in Gujarat

India would be behind the times if it does not accept modern technologies. The third industrial revolution was when this occurred in the nation, the prime minister remarked.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Monday that India had eliminated lines by moving online to deliver various services, praising technology’s role in improving people’s lives.

India will be behind the times if it does not accept modern technologies. Speaking to a crowd after kicking off Digital India Week 2022 in Gujarat’s Gandhinagar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi remarked that the nation went through this during the third industrial revolution.

We used to have to wait in lines (queues) for everything eight to ten years ago. We had to wait in line for bill payment, ration, admittance, test results, certificates, and bank transactions. How many lines did we formerly have to wait in? India has removed all lines as of going online,” he said.

Prime Minister Modi remarked at the ceremony that the central government’s flagship initiative, Digital India, has provided relief from corruption to the poor and is trying to eliminate intermediaries in all areas.
