In line with the bidding procedure, the Asian Football Confederation “shall immediately engage with all bidding member associations on the delivery of the appropriate bidding papers.”
The Asian Football Confederation said on Monday that Australia, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and Uzbekistan had indicated an interest in hosting the 2026 Women’s Asian Cup.
In line with the bidding procedure, the AFC “shall now cooperate with all bidding member associations on the delivery of the appropriate bidding material.”
The winning offer will be revealed the following year, and the AFC praised the tournament’s rising popularity.
The 2022 Women’s Asian Cup, which was enlarged from eight to twelve teams and was held in India, was won by China.
The AFC stated that the 2026 edition “is intended to build on the strong foundations of the legendary tradition of the competition.”
