Reckitt Benckiser announces CEO Laxman Narasimhan would retire

Laxman Narasimhan, the chief executive officer of Reckitt Benckiser, said on Thursday that he would retire at the end of September after serving in the position for three years.
The producer of Dettol and Lysol cleaning products claimed that Narasimhan left for personal reasons and moved back to the US. He has since been contacted about a new opportunity.

The business made no more comments.

Current senior independent director Nicandro Durante will take over for Laxman while the board “evaluates and selects the future leadership,” according to a statement from Reckitt.
