In the Welcome neighborhood of northeast Delhi, a three-year-old child was reportedly sexually abused by a juvenile neighbor, according to police.
According to reports, the youngster has been apprehended, and the event happened on Thursday at approximately 6:30 p.m.
According to a senior police officer, the 14-year-old kid, who was known to the girl, brought her to an empty plot and sexually attacked her there.
When the girl got home, she told her mother what had happened and informed the police. She also invited the boy to their home with his parents, when he allegedly admitted to abusing the youngster, according to the police.
Police medically evaluated the toddler after they were notified of the event, according to the police.
A case under sections 363 (punishment for kidnapping) and 376 (rape) and section 6 of the Protection of Children Against Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act has been registered at Welcome Police Station, they said.
