In a significant diplomatic visit, a high-level delegation from Bhutan, including King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and Prime Minister Dasho Tshering Tobgay, toured the Adani Group’s premier infrastructure projects in Mundra and Khavda, Gujarat. This two-day visit underscored the growing collaboration between Bhutan and India, particularly in the fields of renewable energy and sustainable development.

During the tour, discussions covered key areas such as hydropower, transmission lines, urban development projects like the Gelephu Mindfulness City, the cement industry, green hydrogen, and renewable energy. It includes a 20-year agreement with Sri Lanka for wind power stations and the export of power to Bangladesh from the Godda Power Plant.
