Kanye West and Adidas part ways because of his anti-Semitic remarks

The German sportswear firm Adidas has ended its collaboration with anti-Semitic remarks made by American musician and designer Kanye West (now known as Ye).
The sportswear company issued a statement, "The business has decided to immediately sever its association with Ye following a careful examination. Halt is making the wildly popular "Yeezy" line that West and you collaborated on and "stop all payments to Ye and his firms.". "

The company declared, "Adidas does not accept antisemitism and any other form of hate speech."

The corporation described Ye's remarks as "unacceptable, nasty, and harmful." Additionally, they stated that they went against the "values of diversity and inclusiveness, mutual respect, and fairness" of the organization.

Adidas recently reviewed their relationship with rapper Kanye West after the latter caused controversy by attending Paris Fashion Week while sporting a "White Lives Matter" t-shirt. He responded, "I do certain things from a feeling, I like, just channel the energy, it just feels right," in a Fox News interview when asked why he supported it.

According to a Reuters article, the rapper stirred controversy recently by publicly severing important business links and through social media outbursts directed at other celebrities.

The social media platforms also removed some of Mr. West's posts that users had deemed antisemitic, including a tweet in which the rapper threatened to "go death con three on Jewish people" shortly. Mr. West's social media accounts, including those on Twitter and Instagram, were also restricted.
