Every year 30 March is celebrated as Rajasthan Day. On this day (March 30, 1949), India’s western state Rajasthan was formed. The state of Rajasthan came into existence on March 30, 1949 after the merger of several princely states. This day holds great importance for the people of Rajasthan.
Rajasthan Day is celebrated with great enthusiasm and excitement throughout the state. Celebrations are organized across the state on this day. The celebrations include cultural programmes, folk performances, traditional music and dance, exhibitions showcasing Rajasthani arts and crafts.
