According to the QS Masters in Management (MIM) 2023 rating, the 2-year MBA program at the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (IIM-C) is ranked 51st out of 176 business schools worldwide. IIM-C stated on Friday that it is a rise of two spots from the 53rd rank the previous year. A prominent international ranking has been revealed by London-based global higher education analyst Quacquarelli Symonds (QS).
The institution’s 1-year MBA executive program placed 68th overall and 13th in Asia out of 296 B-Schools, up from 75th last year and 14th this year, according to the institute. Weightings are based on employability (40 percent), return on investment (20 percent), entrepreneurship and alums outcomes (15 percent), thought leadership (15 percent), and class and faculty diversity (10 percent).
IIM Calcutta Dean (NI and ER) Professor Manish Thakur stated that the QS Rankings “show that the IIM Calcutta MBA, MBAEx, and PGDBA programmes are effective launching pads for our alumni to contribute to business and society in leadership roles.”
