IIFA’s technical award show was hosted by Farah Khan and Rajkumar Rao. During this, there was a lot of fun on the stage. Many stars including Sunidhi Chauhan, Badshah, Jacqueline Fernandez, Rakul Preet Singh, Nora Fatehi gave the best performance in the technical night, which added to the charm of this award night. There are a total of nine categories of technical awards, which include cinematography, screenplay, dialogue, sound design, choreography, editing, special effects, background score and sound mixing. In the list of winners, Alia Bhatt’s film Gangubai Kathiawadi got the maximum trophy.

The film Gangubai Kathiawadi received awards in three categories. Sudip Chatterjee for Best Cinematography, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Utkarshini Vashisht for Best Screenplay and Utkarshini Vashisht and Prakash Kapadia in Best Dialogues category.
