The fifth phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe includes the fourth Captain America film.
There is a title and a date for Captain America 4. At San Diego Comic-Con 2022, Marvel Studios said that the fourth film, Captain America: New World Order, would be released on May 3, 2024, and will star Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson, who was formerly known as the Falcon. It will be a part of Marvel Cinematic Universe's fifth phase. Sam Wilson is the new man with a plan, and Marvel Studios teased us alongside. Although I'm sure Captain America: New World Order will play off The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, that doesn't tell us anything.
Particularly in light of how that MCU Disney+ series concluded. Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) added John Walker (Wyatt Russell) to her new crew and gave him the moniker US Agent in the Falcon and the Winter Soldier series finale. Sharon Carter (Emily VanCamp), who had earlier revealed herself to be the evil Power Broker, subsequently obtained a full pardon from the US government and ensconced herself in the CIA in a scene that took place after the episode's credits had finished rolling. When they appear in Captain America: New World Order, expect havoc.
Marvel Studios did not officially confirm any cast members, despite the general expectation that Louis-Dreyfus, Russell, and VanCamp will appear in Captain America: New World Order with the more-or-less confirmed Mackie. The Disney-owned Hollywood behemoth didn't approve the names of the alleged writers and directors working on the project. According to rumors, the script for Captain America: New World Order, which will be directed by Julius Onah (The Cloverfield Paradox), was co-written by The Falcon and the Winter Soldier author Malcolm Spellman and episode 5 writer Dalan Musson.
After Black Panther: Wakanda Forever concludes Phase Four on November 11, six confirmed films will be a part of the MCU's Phase Five. Phase Five will begin in February 2023 with Paul Rudd's Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. James Gunn's concluding installment of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will come out in May 2023, followed by Ms. Marvel with Brie Larson and Iman Vellani in The Marvels, Blade in November 2023, and the recently-confirmed Thunderbolts, also from San Diego Comic-Con, in July 2024.
