Selena Gomez confesses in an interview with Seventeen, that she turns to Taylor Swift for advice on her love life saying “Every single problem I ever have is healed by Taylor Swift! If I ever have an issue, Taylor has gone through it, because she’s older than me, and she gives the most thought-out answers. And what I love about Taylor is that she does believe in the whole love story and Prince Charming and soulmates. Because of her, I haven’t lost faith. We literally talk every day.”
During an appearance on The Talk Friday, Gomez revealed Swift’s valuable advice to her regarding business and love life. She said “She was actually at my house the other day and we were sitting by the fire and I was talking about relationships and business in my life and she just kind of looked at me and was like, ‘Selena, if you’re the smartest person in the room, I think you’re going to be in the wrong room,” Gomez explained. “She thinks I should constantly surround myself with people who are going to make me better, that are going to challenge and motivate me.” She added, “It kind of stuck to me. I want to surround myself with those people.”
