Three people—including a teenager—were murdered in separate lightning-related occurrences here on Friday, and two others suffered injuries.
According to a statement from the district government, the victims were named Raja Babu (13), Usman (15), and Naresh (40), all of Tevara village.
Lightning strikes reportedly injured Ram Singh (34) of Tevara village and Gyal (25) of Beli village.
The fatalities’ corpses were transferred for a post-mortem examination, while the injured were sent to the hospital, according to the statement.
