On Monday, a stray dog attacked and killed a newborn at an apartment complex in Noida, close to Delhi.
The dog attacked the one-year-old kid, who was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, according to the police.
According to police inspector Rajneesh Verma, the incident happened yesterday at approximately 4.30 p.m. at the Lotus Boulevard residences in Sector 100 of Noida.
The boy’s parents, who both work in construction, kept the youngster close to them while working in the community. Unfortunately, a stray dog got loose and attacked the child, leaving him with serious injuries, Mr. Verma told PTI.
The child was brought to a high-end medical facility. He passed away at night.
According to the police, agencies were requested to find stray dogs. Reports said dog catchers arrived but were asked to leave by residents.
