A Mumbai police officer claimed that a 15-year-old girl was located in Haridwar on Monday after she went to Delhi allegedly to visit her lover after getting to know him through a photo and video-sharing social networking site.
The girl’s relatives reported missing her on Friday when the Bhoiwada police station officer said they had launched a kidnapping complaint.
“Our investigation revealed she was in contact with a young guy from Delhi. The youngster was also missing, so his family reported him as kidnapped in Delhi. We were able to track her and the kid using sophisticated surveillance, first to Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh and then to Haridwar in Uttarakhand, “explained he.
