In a video that has gone popular on social media, an autorickshaw is shown driving on a platform inside a Mumbai train station. The Railway Protection Force has punished the vehicle's driver (RPF).
At Kurla station, the event happened on Wednesday at one in the morning. "The autorickshaw accidentally entered platform number one from the back door when no trains were running, and the station was vacant. The autorickshaw was securely evacuated from the station by the Railway Protection Force after being made aware of its existence, "Shivaji Sutar, chief of public relations at Kurla, said.
Many social media users uploaded a video of the autorickshaw on the site and demanded that the driver be punished.
The autorickshaw is seen in the video footage parked close to the edge of the platform as a few individuals try to speak with the driver before pushing the vehicle off the platform. The Railway Police Force Mumbai Division responded by tweeting in Hindi.

After taking the auto-rickshaw and transporting the driver to the RPF post in Kurla, a complaint was filed against him under CR No. 1305/22 U/S 159 RA, and the accused was apprehended on October 12, 2022, by the Hon'ble 35th Court of CSMT and punished, "read the tweet.
According to reports, the autorickshaw driver received a 500 fine under the Railway Act.
