The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi went all out to attack the Opposition party, specifically Congress over Emergency, the Pandemic and inflation in Rajya Sabha during the ongoing Budget Session in the Parliament on Tuesday.

In his response to the debate on the motion of thanks to the speech by the President of India, Modi launched a full attack on the opposition. He talked about dynastic jibe and Urban Naxal bard at the Congress and went ahead to call their behaviour immature during the Coronavirus pandemic.

Prime Minister, during his speech in the parliament, said that the Congress mindset had been hijacked by the Urban Naxals and even called out the leaders of the Grand Old Party as being influenced by this ideology. This was one of the biggest attacks hurled at the party by the Prime Minister. He invoked Mahatma Gandhi and said that the father of the nation wanted to disband the Congress Party soon after the independence.

Modi further stated that had there been no Congress, there would not have been any Emergency in the nation and India would be free from the dynastic rule. The nation without Congress would have trodden on the path to Swadeshi rather than getting influenced by the foreign mindset.

Continuing the jibe of Dynasty Rule, he went on to invoke the party’s leader’s slogan that stated Indira is India and India is Indira. Modi said that some people still believed that the nation was born in 1947, and said that the biggest opposition party has always believed in dynasty rule. Launching a scathing attack on the opposition, Modi stated that the leaders of the opposition party had said that vaccination was not a big deal. The opposition parties had even called the vaccination drive a mere waste of time and money. Modi said that this immaturity shown by the opposition has left the people of India disappointed.

Objecting to the opposition’s jibe on Inflation in the nation, Modi responded that Inflation had touched almost double digits during the regime of the UPA. He also mentioned that currently, India is the only nation that had registered medium inflation while registering high growth at the same time.

In response to the accusations by Rahul Gandhi, Prime Minister said that the British had left but their strategy of Divide and Rule has remained in the nation. He further added that Congress is now leading the ‘Tukde Tukde gang’. Last week Rahul Gandhi had made a statement saying that the Constitution refers to India as a country rather than a union of states and further said that the BJP has been playing with the foundations of the nation.

Responding to the accusations, Modi quoted the first Prime Minister’s Book and said that Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, Andhra, Tamil, Oriya, Kannada… have made their own identity for hundreds of years.
