In view of this, Delhi Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory for the passengers. Due to traffic restrictions, people are facing jam situation in Delhi-NCR. Vehicles are seen crawling on many roads.
Farmers are marching from Punjab-Haryana towards the national capital Delhi on Tuesday with many demands including making law regarding Minimum Support Price (MSP) of crops. In such a situation, the police administration has made strict arrangements to stop the entry of farmers in Delhi and to ensure their security. In this connection, the borders of Delhi have been sealed and traffic has been diverted on many routes. Due to traffic restrictions, people are facing traffic jams in NCR cities including Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, Faridabad.
Farmer organizations of Punjab-Haryana and Uttar Pradesh have been deployed on the borders of Delhi. Like the protests of 2021, this time too farmers have come out to protest for their demands. They called for protests to get their many demands accepted, including making a law to guarantee the Minimum Support Price (MSP). In view of the farmers’ protest, security has been tightened on the state borders.
