In most households, the day begins with milk and tea. That is, milk is delivered to the majority of homes first thing in the morning. Customers who buy milk prefer packet milk to the milkman. As a result, most households purchase packet milk. However, according to information obtained from the Ghaziabad Food Safety and Drug Administration, people’s confidence in the quality of milk has begun to wane. In this report, a decline has been registered in the samples of milk. During the hearing in the court of ADM City, a fine of ₹33.95 lakh has been imposed on 31 institutions including Simbhaoli Sugar Mill, Pizza Hut, apart from milk of well-known companies.
Vineet Kumar, Assistant Commissioner of Food Safety and Drug Administration in NCR Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad, said that samples of Amul Real Milk, Amul Fresh Cream, Toned Milk, Amul Gold Full Cream Milk, Open Milk, Full Cream and Toned Milk were taken from Mother Dairy.
In contrast samples were obtained from, Mangala brand sesame oil, Sugar Sahibabad industrial area, Simbhaoli Sugar Mill in Vasundhara, Pizza Hut’s smoked garlic and black pepper of Crossing Republic, Balaji Flour Mills wheat flour, Kalchina Bhojpur’s mawa, and cashew pieces of Vaishali’s Captain Restobar. All of these brands’ food samples were sent for testing. The samples failed the test according to the specifications.The department then referred the case to ADM City Bipin Kumar’s court. Following the hearing, the court imposed a fine on these companies and gave them one month to pay it.
This milk has received the maximum Penalty
The maximum penalty has been imposed on Amul milk. A fine of ₹8.24 lakh has been imposed on it and ₹ 7.10 lakh on Mother Dairy. A fine of ₹ 3.70 lakh has been imposed on Simbhaoli Sugar Mill,₹ 2.30 lakh on Pizza Hut and ₹ 2.50 lakh on Mangala brand, which sells sesame oil.
