A day before Diwali, on Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to do a “puja” at the Ram temple in Ayodhya, according to government sources.
He will also take in “Deepotsav” and “aarti” rites while at the temple town on Sunday night and check on the Ram temple’s continuing construction. According to sources, PM Modi will also see digital and green fireworks on the banks of the Saryu River.
On Friday, PM Modi is also anticipated to travel to the well-known shrines of Kedarnath and Badrinath in Uttarakhand.
He will oversee construction projects at the two well-known pilgrimage centers in addition to performing “puja” at the temples.
