Plane Crash in China: Casualties Undetermined

A Chinese airliner with 132 passengers crashed in the southern province of Guangxi, the Chinese media has reported on Monday. According to broadcaster CCTV, the crash involving a China Eastern Airlines Boeing 737 took place near the city of Wuzhou in Teng county.

The number of casualties and injured is not informed yet.

Chinese president Xi Jinping has invoked the immediate emergency mechanism for the plane crash- reported Chinese media Global Times. There are no spared efforts for the rescue operation by the Chinese government.

China Eastern's flight No. 5735 had been traveling at around 30,000 feet when suddenly, just after 0620 GMT, the plane entered a deep dive at its altitude speed of 455 knots (523 mph, 842 kph), according to data from flight-tracking website FlightRadar24.com. The data reported that the plane crash would have occurred within a minute and a half of whatever went awry.

The plane stopped communicating data just southwest of the Chinese city of Wuzhou.

The crash had provoked the forest fire. The fire has been extinguished informed by local emergency management to CCTV - Global times.
