PM Modi advises Kashmir’s youth to put the past problems behind them

On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that Jammu and Kashmir were a source of pride for every Indian and that it was time to put the past behind us and fully embrace the future.
Speaking through video conference at the Jammu and Kashmir Rozgar Mela, he added that quick progress requires using fresh ideas and methods.

According to Modi, "We are dedicated to distributing development's advantages evenly to all groups and citizens."

"Every Indian is proud of Jammu and Kashmir. We must elevate Jammu and Kashmir collectively, "Added he.

He thanked the 3,000 young people who had obtained letters of employment to work for the government in 20 locations in Jammu and Kashmir. He continued these young people would have the chance to work in various sectors, including PWD, Health, Food and Civil Supplies, Animal Husbandry, Jal Shakti, and Education-Culture.

The prime minister said that efforts are underway to distribute around 700 appointment letters in other departments over the next several days.

The prime minister noted a record rise in the number of visitors to Jammu and Kashmir and claimed that infrastructure improvements and improved connectivity boosted the state's tourism industry.

The prime minister said, "It is our goal that the advantages of government programs reach all sectors of society without prejudice.

He also mentioned that initiatives are underway to improve Jammu and Kashmir's health and educational systems, including building two new AIIMS, seven new medical schools, two state cancer centers, and 15 nursing schools.

He said that initiatives were being made to increase train accessibility to Kashmir.

The prime minister asked the young people entering government jobs to prioritize openness, noting how the people of Jammu and Kashmir have always emphasized and valued it.

The prime minister said, "When I first started meeting people from Jammu and Kashmir, I could constantly feel their suffering. It was the discomfort caused by systemic corruption. Jammu and Kashmir residents despise corruption." The prime minister also commended Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and his staff for their outstanding efforts in eradicating corruption.
