Video Going Viral: A 3-year-old Madhya Pradesh child complains to the police about candies

In Madhya Pradesh, a three-year-old boy complained to the police that his mother prevented him from eating candy and begged the officers to take her into custody.
Saddam, the little youngster, was upset with his mother and begged his father to take him to the police station after she "stole" his sweets and spanked him.

In the widely circulated event video, Saddam explains his trauma to the sub-inspector at Burhanpur's Dedtalai. He tells sub-inspector Priyanka Nayak, "Ammi took my candy; throw her in jail."

Ms. Nayak asks him some questions and jots down his worries while acting like she has received his complaint. She is unable to contain her laughing at the child's naivety.

This document bears the child's signature. Then Ms. Nayak assures him that his mother will be apprehended shortly.

Saddam's father told the authorities that when his son requested candy, his mother softly caressed his cheek.

The man stated that that infuriated Saddam, who requested that I accompany him to the police.

Narottam Mishra, the state's home minister, spoke to the young boy through video chat after the video clip went viral and vowed to gift him chocolates and a bicycle for Diwali.
