In India, the government has increased the fines for breaking traffic laws. Since the laws and regulations have become more stringent, many individuals are terrified of the challan. Currently, a video of a vegetable vendor wheeling his cart while wearing a helmet is becoming popular online.
A person questions the seller in the video posted on Twitter by ShaCasm, why he is wearing the helmet. The merchant answered that if he didn't wear a helmet, the officers ahead would stop him.
Later in the film, the individual tells the seller that the police won't stop him because the restriction only applies to two-wheelers. "Brother, your knowledge is incredible; read the book Kamal hai Bhai," read the video's caption.
The video was published on October 9 and has already received 28,800 views. On the internet, the 42-second footage elicited conflicting opinions. "He is the basic law-fearing individual being misled by some Mr. Pandey Ji," a user said. He's either too innocent or dumb, another person said.
"innocent individuals who only worry about penalties because of the police. Sad circumstance lack of effective communication among the layers, "the third person wrote. "Innocence at its height," said the fourth.
The central government modified the Motor Vehicles Act in 2019. With the modification came a new set of guidelines and penalties that would be applied nationally.
To reduce the number of unregistered cars in Delhi, the state government will impose the MV Act penalties on anyone operating a vehicle without a valid registration plate.
