The many sleep phases are like a rollercoaster that you experience every night. While you’re sleeping, your body and mind are busy even though you’re not aware of it.
Sleep has been traditionally divided into 4 categories: awake, light, deep, and REM sleep. Each one plays an essential role in maintaining your mental and physical health
Your body naturally controls your sleep cycles to ensure that you get the rest you need. All phases of sleep are crucial. The remainder of the body also needs sleep. The threats to a person’s health increase when they don’t get enough sleep. Seizures, migraines, high blood pressure, and depressive symptoms all get worse. Immunity is weakened.
Following behaviours can help you sleep better:
Be dependable.
Put your alarm on, at the same time every morning, including on the weekends, and go to bed at the same time.
Take a workout. Being active throughout the day can make it easier for you to sleep at night.
Make sure your bedroom is peaceful, dark, cosy, and silent.
Limit your intake of caffeine and alcohol before going to bed.
Be isolated , remove all electrical devices from the bedroom, including TVs, computers, and smartphones.
Similar to how your body yearns for food, your body yearns for sleep. Your need for sleep increases during the day, and at some point, you must go to bed. So what’s there to wait for , try experimenting.
