A woman named Maduhansi Hasinthara completed an entire picture shoot at the President’s palace in Colombo, Sri Lanka, amid a protracted uprising.
The only way you may not be aware of the political drama playing out on the island nation of Sri Lanka is if you are living under a rock. The nation has been through the biggest economic crisis in the past 70 years. Millions of citizens struggle for basic essentials, including food, medication, gasoline, and other important goods. Things are becoming worse due to the rapidly rising inflation.
The internet has been flooded with footage showing irate protesters climbing the presidential palace’s walls. People broke into the residence and were seen relaxing about the house, utilizing the bed, and having fun in the pool. Despite this, a woman’s tourism photos taken at the Colombo President’s palace have gone viral online. The woman named Maduhansi Hasinthara clicked several photos in the lawn area and in front of the car. Yes, you read that right.
Twenty-six pictures were taken by Maduhansi Hasinthara and uploaded on Facebook. She had a whole picture session done and posed in various locations around the castle, including sitting on the sofa, lying on the bed, standing on the grass, and close to a car. The caption was simply a heart emoji written by the woman.
The images quickly gained 20,000 likes and more than a thousand comments from online users. Interestingly, some referred to her as queen in the comments.
