An Apology

IMA has filed a Writ Petition before the Supreme Court against misleading advertisements and malicious campaign by some persons and entities against modern medicine professionals. With reference to certain statements made by me during an interview with PTI News, I have expressed regret to the Hon’ble Supreme Court and have also submitted my Affidavit to the Court for tendering my unconditional apology. I have also submitted to the Supreme Court that: -

• I had committed an error by making the statements in the interview conducted by PTI News, which was then reported in various news publications. Such statements ought not to have been made by me in relation to proceedings before the Supreme Court.
• I never had any intention to lower the majesty or dignity of the Supreme Court
