On the occasion of Vijay Dashami, a branch of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) was organized in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad. Vijayadashami Utsav was organized by Indirapuram Central Nagar branch of Ghaziabad on the occasion of Vijayadashami on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at 8.00 am. Sangh’s All India Executive member and former head-caretaker Bhaiyyaji Joshi was present as the main speaker in this program.
While addressing the volunteers in his statement, Bhaiyyaji Joshi said, “Hindu society is proud of the construction of Ram temple. The construction of Ram temple is the starting point of reconstruction of the nation.” While calling for nation-building, he said that one should identify the demonic powers and be ready to fight them.
It is noteworthy that Vijayadashami festival is one of the six festivals of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. According to popular belief, the tradition of weapon worship is followed by the Hindu society on this day. To fulfill this tradition, this puja was also organized by the Indirapuram branch of the Sangh. On the importance of weapons, Bhaiyyaji Joshi gave the example of Ukraine-Russia and Israel-Palestine war and said that it is necessary to protect against the expansionist and colonial mentality of some countries of the world.
