The chief minister said, "About 18,000 applicants applied for the school, and the children were chosen after a difficult selection process." Through individual and group assignments, simulated interviews, psychometric tests, and workshops on personality development, the fully residential school will instruct students. Students from Delhi will attend the school because it is associated with the Delhi Board of School Education.

He stated that the pupils will be coached by retired service members from the armed forces. The institution will be a part of Delhi Board of School Education (DBSE).
