She started her career with the song Back to Back with Canadian rapper Drake. Navraj Singh Goraya was born on November 3, 1989 in Toronto, Canada. Nav's mother is a computer engineer and Nav's father used to drive a forklift in Toronto. Nav first became interested in singing when his mother got him a boombox in the third grade. Nav's uncle was also a famous Punjabi singer in India, he started taking Nav with him to the studio. When Nav was in high school they created a mashup and Nav started making beats for Toronto artist. Gradually Nav became famous on SoundCloud. In 2010, Nav completed his studies with a Diploma in Audio Production and Engineering from the Metalworks Institute of Ontario.
Nav released the song Back to Back with fellow Canadian rapper and singer Drake in July 2015. On September 4, 2015, Nav released his first solo take on SoundCloud and YouTube titled Simple, which has received over eighteen million views. In February 2018, Neo was nominated for a Juno Award for Breakthrough Artist of the Year at the Juno Awards. After this, Nav continued to reach new heights.
