8 Bolshoi Devyatinsky Lane served as the embassy’s previous address.According to the municipal hall, approximately 280,000 people cast votes to determine the new address.According to the statement, the modification was made when Moscow council members suggested honouring the “defenders of Donbas” on the city’s map. Donbas is a territory in Ukraine with a significant Russian-speaking population that Russia claims it is liberating as part of its military campaign.
