Shri Ram Sharma (famous: Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya) was a writer, social reformer, freedom fighter and founder of Gayatri Parivar.
Apart from this, he also founded Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya.
He was born on September 20, 1911 (Ashwin Krishna Trayodashi Vikrami Samvat 1967) in Agra, Uttar Pradesh.
He was the originator of Yug Nirman Yojana. Among his many original slogans – “We will change, the era will change”.
He is the author of more than three thousand four hundred (3400) books and booklets.
He explained the entire Vedic scriptures like Vedas, Puranas, Upanishads in simple language.
Shri Ram Sharma Acharya formulated scientific spirituality in the scriptures written by him.
Shri Ram Sharma Acharya established a spiritual center named 'Shantikunj' in Haridwar under the Yug-Nirman Yojana.
The name of his religious wife was – Bhagwati Devi Sharma.
He died on June 2, 1990.
