A rich minor parties with his friends in Pune, Maharashtra. Under the influence of alcohol, he gets out of his father’s Porsche car worth crores and hits a bike. In this accident, two young engineers riding a bike die. However, since the accused is a minor, he gets bail within 15 hours. The condition of bail is also such that the new Motor Vehicle Act has come under question. Not only this, new revelations are continuously being made in this matter, which are extremely shocking.
Allegations are being made that after the police took the accused into custody, he was given VIP treatment keeping in mind his father’s influence. He was provided pizza and burger to eat. Questions are also being raised on the bail of the minor and the conditions set for him.

The case has been registered against the minor accused under section 304 of IPC. Due to the manner in which the vehicle met with the accident, the police suspect that the accused was driving under the influence of alcohol. Therefore, the police also got the accused’s blood tested.
The victim’s side had raised questions on the police’s method and said that keeping in mind the father’s wealth, VIP treatment was also given to him. After the accident, the accused was fed pizza in the police station, while the victim was harassed by asking absurd questions. Devesh, brother of Anish, who lost his life in the accident, told that when they reached Yerwada police station, they kept him sitting for a long time and started asking inappropriate questions about Ashwini’s relationship with her brother Anish.
However, the court granted bail to the accused without the results of the investigation. The conditions on which the court granted bail to the accused minor are being discussed vigorously.
- The court said that the minor will have to help in traffic control along with Yerwada Mandal police for 15 days.
- To give up alcohol, one will have to undergo treatment from a psychiatrist. If he sees any accident in future, he will have to help the accident victims.
- As per the court’s decision, the accused will have to write an essay of at least 300 words on the consequences of road accidents and their remedies.
Due to such conditions of bail, the new Motor Vehicle Act has come under question. Let us tell you that in 2019, the Modi government had approved the Motor Vehicles Amendment Bill. In this, a provision was made for heavy fines for violating traffic rules. Besides, strict action was also taken against minor driving. According to this new Motor Vehicle Act, if a minor drives the vehicle, not only will the registration of the parents’ vehicle be canceled, but if proven guilty, a fine of Rs 25,000 and three years of imprisonment was also imposed on the parents.
Police have made a big disclosure. According to the police, the accused minor had partied in several pubs before hitting two people with his speeding Porsche car. Before the accident, he had spent Rs 48,000 in just 90 minutes by visiting two pubs. Police claim that the teenager was drinking alcohol at the time of the accident.
Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar said that the police is trying to prove a case of culpable homicide. Citing the bail order passed by the Juvenile Justice Board on Sunday, Kumar said that the accused has mentioned in his plea that he is addicted to alcohol, to prove that he was not in his senses at the time of the accident. He said, ‘We are trying to prove that he was completely in his senses and knew that his action could lead to his death.’
