Britain's royal highness Queen Elizabeth has completed 70 years of her rule.
Queen Elizabeth became the first British monarch to celebrate a platinum jubilee.On this
occasion of completing 70 years of service to the people of the United Kingdom, it's now time to celebrate it.
To grace the occasion, many street parties are scheduled to take place. The royal celebrations will honor the queen's historic reign which also included two bank holidays one that of yesterday and one of today , with an advance four-day holiday weekend.
The queen's 96th birthday marked the beginning of the Jubilee events on Thursday, June 2.
The celebratory period will consist of four days , with day one as Trooping the color. Day two will serve as the Service of Thanksgiving. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are expected to be there in attendance at the service for the Queen's reign. Day three will be marked as the Race Day . This is to take place on Saturday, June 4, where past and present jockeys are set to form a guard rod honor. The event will be broadcasted live .
Performances from the special casts and guests like The Lion King and Joseph are bound to
add luster to the events.
The platinum Jubilee celebrations will also feature the last and the fourth day : The Grand
Finale. It is noted that to magnify the celebrations more than 60000 people have registered to host Big Jubilee lunches. This is made to set a world record for the longest street party.The event will be closed by a three-hour pageant with the Gold State Carriage, led by The Sovereign's Escort.
All the events will be aired on many live broadcasting channels with upto one billion viewers
worldwide set to tune in.
