According to Autocar, four years after introducing its first SUV at its Capital Markets Day, the Italian brand used the event to announce that the next model will make its official appearance in September.
The news isn’t completely unexpected.
Aside from previous rumours, Ferrari just posted a video on social media previewing a new V-12 powered vehicle. Nonetheless, it’s comforting to know that, while being a dramatic departure for the brand, the Purosangue will strive to live up to its sports car heritage. It remains to be seen whether the Purosangue is a success, but Ferrari insists that it will always be a sports car manufacturer first and foremost.

You can’t design a new automobile these days without thinking about making it electric at some point. While some believe Ferrari is departing from its traditions by opting for an SUV, others see it as an exciting potential. The Purosangue, on the other hand, is a super-exclusive production addition to Ferrari’s inventory,
