Former Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad announced the launch of his new organisation on Sunday during his much anticipated political rally in Jammu and Kashmir after abandoning his five-decade affiliation with the grand old party.
I still haven't chosen a name for my party. The party's name and flag will be chosen by the people of J&K. At the event, Azad declared, "I'll give my party a Hindustani name that everyone can understand.
The former minister for the Union, however, stated that he had not yet chosen a name for his party. "The people of Jammu and Kashmir will decide the name and the flag for the party. I will give a Hindustani name to my party that everyone can understand," Azad said at the rally after breaking away from his five-decade-long association with the Congress.
Azad brought up a heated topic inside the Congress, claiming that members of the party now enter jail in buses, phone the DGP or commissioners, get their names put down, and leave the facility within an hour. Congress has been unable to expand as a result of this.
