Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to inaugurate the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit on January 10 and it will go up to January 12. The inauguration will take place in a glittering function to be held at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar and will be graced with the presence of leaders, business magnates, and investors from 26 countries.
The theme of the VGGS 2021 will be “Aatmanirbhar Gujarat to Aatmanirbhar Bharat”.
The summit that is scheduled for January 10 to January 12 is expected to set new benchmarks as it will have 15 Foreign Ministers and 4 Foreign Governors attending the mega event from India and overseas.
The tenth edition of the grand summit will be a grand feat. It has received a massive response from partner countries, Heads of Governments, and States. The event for the first time will witness the Heads of 5 States and Governments come together. These will include Mikhail Mishustin (the Prime Minister of Russia ), Filipe Jacinto Nyusi (the President of Mozambique ), Pravind Jugnauth ( the Prime Minister of Mauritius ), Sher Bahadur Deuba ( the Prime Minister of Nepal ), Janez Jansa ( the Prime Minister of Slovenia ).
The participating 26 countries will increase the reach and engagement of the Vibrant Summit with the International business and knowledge community. The summit for the past two decades has been a representation of India and has established Gujarat as the land of opportunities.
Some global business tycoons will also attend the summit including Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem (DP World), Didier Casimiro (Rosneft), Tony Fountain (Nyara Energy Limited), Toshihiro Suzuki (Suzuki Motor Corporation), Maeda Tadashi (Japan Bank for International Cooperation), Salil Gupte (Boeing India Private Limited) and William L. Blair (Lockheed Martin India Private Limited).
The Summit will be graced by the presence of some of the business leaders from India as well. This will include Mukesh Ambani, Gautam Adani, KM Birla, Sunil Bharati Mittal, Ashok Hinduja, N. Chandrasekharan, and Harsh Goenka.
Although the opposition has protested against the three-day summit in the wake of the rising number of Covid cases throughout the nation. The officials have responded to the objections by stating that the Summit will take place under proper rules and regulations. The Covid appropriate behavior will be followed strictly. Proper quarantine arrangements for the delegates have been put in place. The officials have also said that no government employee or participant of the summit will be allowed at the event if they have not been given the two doses of the COVID vaccine.
