Property Rights Along with this, daughters have rights over their parents' property. Very often girls do not get a share of the land, which is wrong. If you wish, you can demand your share in your parents' property. Under the Hindu Succession Act, 1956, women have equal property rights as men.
Right to Equality Under Articles 14 and 15 of the Constitution, it is illegal to discriminate on the basis of sex. This means that women should have equal rights and opportunities as men.
Right to Education Under Article 21A of the Constitution, all children in the age group of 6 to 14 years have the right to free and compulsory education. Girls are also included in this.

Protection from Domestic Violence Under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005, women have the right to protection from domestic violence.
Protection from Sexual Harassment Under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal Act, 2013, women have the right to protection from sexual harassment at the workplace.
Right to Political Participation Women have the right to contest elections and vote.
Right to health Women have the right to equal access to health services.
