In a bizarre turn of events, a 21-year-old student identified as Rohit Tyagi hailing from Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, found himself on the wrong side of the law after orchestrating a dubious cab booking. Tyagi’s ill-conceived plan involved directing a cab to none other than the residence of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan in Mumbai, allegedly with the intention of picking up jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
This eyebrow-raising incident unfolded mere days following a disturbing attack at Salman Khan’s Bandra residence, where assailants on motorcycles unleashed gunfire, an act later claimed by none other than Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother, Anmol Bishnoi. The attack, purportedly in retaliation for the infamous 1998 blackbuck poaching case involving Salman Khan, heightened tensions and security concerns in the vicinity.
The unsuspecting cab driver, oblivious to the gravity of the situation, dutifully proceeded to Galaxy Apartments and approached the security personnel stationed there, seeking information about the whereabouts of Lawrence Bishnoi. Little did he know that his innocent inquiry would trigger a swift response from law enforcement authorities present on the scene.
Promptly taking action, the police detained the bewildered driver and swiftly handed him over to the Bandra Police for further interrogation. Subsequent investigations into the peculiar cab booking revealed Tyagi’s involvement, shedding light on the perplexing sequence of events.
