According to the sport’s regulatory body, Red Bull will not have points removed from their 2021 total despite being penalized $7 million for violating Formula One’s financial regulations. Additionally, Red Bull will be penalized with a 10% decrease in authorized aerodynamic research.

The FIA confirmed that the team overspent by 1.86 million euros ($2.15 million) in 2021. This squad was responsible for Max Verstappen’s disputed championship triumph over Lewis Hamilton the previous year.

The 10% reduction is in the amount of time they can spend utilizing computational fluid dynamics or their wind tunnel to develop their automobile.
Red Bull admitted their error and went into an alleged “accepted breach agreement” with the FIA before being penalized.
