KL Rahul
KL Rahul’s comeback has been one of the better stories. He had announced his comeback by scoring a century against Pakistan in the Super-4 of the Asia Cup. In the World Cup, he scored an unbeaten 97 runs against Australia and led the struggling Team India to victory.
Abdullah Shafiq
Abdullah Shafiq, who played only four ODIs at number five before making his World Cup debut, showed his class. Scored a century against Sri Lanka and became the first Pakistani player to score a century on World Cup debut. He can play an important role in the match against India.
