iPad Air(2022) was launched in the performance event of Apple on March 8, Tuesday. The iPad will be available on March 18.
The price in India starts with Rs.54,900 for the wi-fi only 64GB variant and the Wifi plus cellular variant with 64GB storage will be available at Rs.68,900. In the US the iPad Air(2022) will debut at the price of $599.
iPad Air(2022) comes in colors space grey, blue, Starlight, purple, and pink. The iPad runs on iPadOS15. The display comes with a peak brightness of up to 500 nits. It has the same 10.9-inch LED-backlit liquid retina display. The display comes with the same resolution of 2360 by 1640 pixels that were introduced earlier in the model of 2020. It also has touch-id support integrated through the power button. It has an octa-core M1 chip and an 8GB Ram. The M1 chip is considered to make CPU performance 60 percent faster.
The camera offered has a 12 mega-pixel wide rear camera along with an f\1.8 lens. It supports autofocus, panorama, burst mode, photo geotagging. Also, it has slow-motion video support.
It has storage options of 64GB and 256GB. It includes an ambient light sensor, barometer, and accelerometer.
Apple claims that the iPad(2022) comes with all-day battery life. It has a 28.6WH battery which is supposed to provide 10 hours of browsing on wifi on a one-time charge.
It has Apple Pencil support which is for the users to draw sketches and much more. The magic keyboard is also there to provide a notebook-like experience to the users.
