On Thursday, LinkedIn unveiled new capabilities that would make it simpler for creators to produce and share interesting visual content on the site. The Microsoft-owned social network’s most recent update now allows users to immediately add a clickable link to photographs and videos. Users of LinkedIn will also have access to new text post templates with a variety of formatting and background options. Additionally, Carousels, a new content format from LinkedIn that lets users select numerous images or videos to add to a post, is now available.
On Thursday, a blog post published by the Microsoft-owned professional social network revealed the addition of new capabilities. As previously noted, LinkedIn now enables users to include outside links in posts that include images and videos. By doing this, creators can direct visitors to their website, newsletter, or other resources from their LinkedIn personal or company page. After making a new post on a mobile device that includes an image or video, you can accomplish this by tapping the Add a link icon. Jake Poses, creative manager at LinkedIn, offered an example of the feature on the blog as well.
In order to draw viewers’ attention, LinkedIn is also introducing a Templates tool that enables authors to customise the backgrounds and fonts used in their text articles. By going to Post on mobile and then clicking Use a template, you may access the Templates. Users have the option of including a clickable link in addition to backgrounds and fonts in layouts.
LinkedIn users may now integrate both images and videos in carousels, a new content style. The presentation will be swipeable. It is known that the Carousels functionality will alter over the upcoming months.
According to LinkedIn, users will be able to access the new Clickable Link capabilities and Templates over the next few weeks. On the other side, creators are currently receiving The Carousels.
