On July 15, 2022, BMW plans to introduce the new G 310 RR in India. The new G 310 RR, the sister model of the TVS Apache RR 310, will be the third model from the 310 series produced by the German manufacturer, joining the G 310 R and the G 310 GS Adventure Tourer. Recently, BMW Motorrad has been teasing its next model and accepting reservations for the motorbike with a series of teasers. Interestingly, the business has said that monthly payments for the 310 RR would start at Rs 3,999 per month, even though pricing has not yet been revealed.
The car’s design is mainly shown in the teasers, indicating that the G 310 RR would only receive minor, aesthetic upgrades over its Apache sister. The undisguised bike may be seen in a recent social media video, and the G 310 RR only seems to receive BMW-specific colors and graphics over its TVS sister. The bike still has a split headlight setup up front, and the fairing is made similarly. The bull horn-shaped LED components in the taillights at the back are also a straight carryover from the Apache 310. The teasers also reveal that the G 310 RR’s instrument cluster will include a 5.0-inch TFT display.
The G 310 RR will use the same 313cc, single-cylinder engine as the rest of the 310 series in the powertrain. The engine produces around the same 33.5 horsepower and 27 Nm in the G 310 siblings as it does in the TVS Apache RR 310. Expect the G 310 RR to have riding modes, two-channel ABS, and other features in addition to BMW-specific graphics for the display. But it’s still unclear whether the BMW will provide the same customization possibilities as its TVS brother.
Expect the G 310 RR to be priced somewhere between the G 310 R and the G 310 GS, both worth Rs 2.70 lakh and Rs 3.10 lakh. BMW’s new entry-level sport bike is anticipated to cost roughly Rs. 3 lakh. At the moment, the Apache RR 310 costs Rs 2.65 lakh.
